Intimate Downtown Wedding in Providence, Rhode Island | New England Elopement and Wedding PhotographersRead More
2017 was hands down the craziest year yet. I left my full time desk job in February, went on a fourteen day cruise, spent a week in Canada, photographed an engagement session in Chicago, photographed wedding portraits in California, explored Alaska for ten days, pursued our dream and purchased out first home - our sprinter van!, and photographed thirteen weddings and two elopements.
I couldn't have done any of this without the love, support and lots of encouragement from my family and friends and the wonderful people below. I can't wait to see what is in store for 2018!
Cheers to a new year and new friends!
It rained most of the morning while Jess got ready is her quiet and cozy bridal suite. You could sense the excitement and the nervousness as Jess finished getting ready. Leading up to their ceremony, Jess and Josh wanted to have a first look, but they didn't want to see each other. We found a quiet spot at the club house; Jess on one side of the wall, Josh on the other. Hand in hand they read love notes to each other.
Josh was determined to have their ceremony outside, despite the rain. Ten minutes before their ceremony the sky opened up and the sun came out. Surrounded by their friends and family, Jess and Josh said I do. For the rest of the evening the sun shined - we even caught a beautiful sunset!
Below are some of my favorite from their wedding!
